James Dore’ has been dazzling audiences with his unique brand of high energy stage performances showcasing his party anthems and what he likes to refer to as “body mechanics” (But most of us common folk just call it dancing) over the course of this last eventful year. Dore' has been featured national commercials, fitness adds, billboards, hosted TV shows and his songs have been featured in a Lions Gate film release, "Vampire Slayers". His CD “Private Party” has been turning heads at numerous fashion shows and upscale dance lounges though out the valley of the Sun and gained him the title, “Most featured artist” (for three months in a row) on KEUG, G105.5 FM Radio Oregon, were he was hailed as, “One of the best up and coming artist.” by Tim Ryan on the Tim Ryan Show Live. “Good music with integrity” (Bebe Winnans)
Why this name?
Dore' means golden. It's my family name. My great great grandfather is straight from France. I believe in Gods eyes everyone is golden, so in essence everyone is a Dore'.
Do you play live?
I love to play live! Right now I'm forming an incredible band and will be doing alot more live shows, festivals parties...wherever the public needs me! Halla!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens alot of doors for artist who would normaly not be heard and it has definately made the record industry re-think it's strategy.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It all boils down to weather or not the deal is beneficial. You get what you negotiate.

Your influences?
I love all types of music, from Classic Rock to Reggae to Elecronica to Jazz to Classical and even folk and Country, but my main influences are R&B, Hip-Hop, Classic Rock, Funk and dance music meaning anything with a rhythm that you absolutely have to move your body to. Of course that would include Disco, House and all that, old to new. I love what Timberland is doing blending Electronica with Hip-Hop and R&B...SICK COMBO!!! Experimentation is the way to progressive music and art in general. My goal is to move forward through creative expression without limits.
Favorite spot?
Very tough question. I love San Francisco. I lived there for a couple of years when I was going to acting school. But I also love L.A. Look at Hollywood! Crazy town but I love it! Vagas has become a sick place to just go nuts! N.Y. Is completely amazing! I also love D.C., Florida...gotta love hittin the Epcot Center and hit the clubs on that Island! Speaking of Islands Hawaii is incredible! Did that help at all?...
