Why this name?
The title was given us to us by a former Program Director at the now defunct 92.3 "the beat".
Do you play live?
Haven't done any shows in awhile.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
By allowing a seemingly endless supply of data to transmit musical data around the planet via the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe, depends on the terms and conditions.
Your influences?
I'm an old school vet, so I'd have to go with Grover Washington, Bob Marley, and the rest of the 70s bands.
The Golden Age of Hip-Hop, every artist from that period: MC Lyte, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B & Rakim, UTFO etc....
My 5th grade music teacher. From that mixture I developed my own style which is smooth, bouncy, intense; with at least 4 different genres of music mixed into it to keep it interesting.
