Chris Maguire aka The "K" Theory has been performing and recording music for the best part of 10 years. He started in rock bands as a 14 year old teenager and rocked the Welsh Valleys up until the age of about 21 when he up-rooted and moved over to the USA. Since then The "K" Theory has spent a great deal of time building and working in his home studio remixing and writing and producing. "K" has worked with many up and coming and well known names in the music business including:
* Toxic Grind
* Becky Baeling
* Blueman Group
* Akt
* Marillion
* Illegal Substance
* Oleander
* PLP
* Matt Lewis
* Venus Hum
...to name but a few. "K" loves producing and remixing music, and loves putting his style into others music to make the song a classic. "K"'s production spans all genres of music and "K" can inject his theory into just about any music.
If you are interested in working with a new producer, or just need a remix done of an existing song, please do not hesitate to contact "K".
Thanks.

Why this name?
The mystery of the name is what makes it so appealing.
Do you play live?
Not any more. "K" used to play all of the time while playing with Bluefur, but not any more. Right now "K" is solely studio based.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet and MP3 allow so much more to be achieved in the music world. The "K" Theory is currently producing two of Wales most up and coming young stars (Akt and Matt Lewis). All of this is done via the internet and without this technology, projects like this oculd not be achieved.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would rather produce/remix major label stars than being a star myself. I would love to make it as a producer and artist in my own right (like BT). I guess thats my aim.
Band History:
* 1995 - Joined Wuss
* 1998 - After various name changes stayed as Bluefur. Had a TV appearance, got a good buzz going and was VERY close to getting a record deal. As always bandmembers didn't know what was good for them and left at a very critical time.
* 2001 - Built my own home studio and starting producing music as The "K" Theory.
