Jonathan Orozco otherwise know as Jay Blitz, was born and raise in Brooklyn NY entered the music scene in 2003 as a producer/artist bringing "Something New To The Game" which was the title of his independent debut album in 2006 showcasing a different style of Hip Hop/Rap music along with the versatility of representing his Puerto Rican culture by also experimenting in the Reggaeton genre. With the long awaiting new album "All Or Nothing" in stores now Jay Blitz has inserted himself into the music industry as one of the fresh new talents of this generation. Now completing the crossed over to the reggeaton genre with his anticipated debut album "La Nueva Clase" coming soon, guess its safe to say in translation Jay Blitz is music's new school sound.

Why this name?
Well my real name is Jonathan so my friends called me jay and i always felt like if you going to come into this game you got to give it your all or dont come at all, thats where the Blitz term came into play.
Do you play live?
At the moment im not, every once in awhile i will do one of my songs at a karaooke bar but thats about it looking into doing more shows.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
You get the chance for the world to hear your music before getting signed. This is a dream come true for artist , you get to build your fan base and increase your credibility.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, of course if the terms are fair i'm more then willing to sign with a major label but like i said before, because of the internet your able to make that move when you feel you ready.
Your influences?
I love all types of music in any genre.
Favorite spot?
My home town of course where i was born and raised, Brooklyn, New York and PR where my parents were born and raise.

Whatever is needed to complete the project.
Anything else...?
All i want is for people to hear my music and give me feedback/comments/suggestions etc. I'm just trying to make good music for the world to enjoy and i feel blessed that i could do it in engligh or spanish. Theres always room for improvement, same goes for my productions, just want artist to connect with my beats and make good music
