MC Timmy is known as one of the greatest underground rappers in Utah. His skills however don't stop there, they extend to producing everyone from Dylan Clough of Sick City Saints to Trevor Gonzalez of $trktly Gangsta and Hagan M appearing on many SG tracks as well.
Why this name?
People call me Timmy cause I look like timmy of south park, and fellow MC, MC LARS started calling me MC TiMMY.
Do you play live?
Yeah, when I can get shows and stuff together. I'm looking to book some shows for free right now, so hit me up.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives us the ability to get our music out to the world, i hope one day that everyone will have my flows on there MP3 players.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, I want to get my stuff heard throughout the world, so that would be awesome!
Your influences?
Most of my influence comes directly from the people i collaborate with, but others such as Hassan Ansari, Eminem, 2pac, Bone Thugs n' Harmony, Ice Cube, and Billy Joel all have lent there hands in the inspiration of my flows. Also Amen Riccs is one of my greatest influences.
Favorite spot?
The Acetin Boothe
Equipment used:
My Computer, Old Turntable, Drum Set, My Homies, and tons of stuff man, like whatever I can get my hands on. Rap is constantly evolving, and so should the sh--t we use. I appreciate dudes like 2PAC, and Ice Cube who have opened so many doors for me to explode.
