Four HCEGers getting together to collaborate on an instrumental song.
Another noodling with Fret's BT but this time with my brand new THR10 .
jamming to Frets' song in HCEG
Jamming to a BT from Frets99 at HCEG
From a recent concert in a small cafe. A well known song from Ireland.
Mnewb's BT in HCEG. I jammed to it changing presets as I went not knowing wha the next sound would be. Weird but it kind of worked.
NOT me playing. It's the version from a play-along book It's here temporarily to show the guitar sound to fellow HCEGers and I will remove this clip when the thread is no longer needed or getting replies.
A long piece by Alex de Grassi. One of my favorite piece to play
That one was recorded with my Beneteau (I have recorded mostly with the Larrivee which is less boomy and more balanced).
My rendition of the Michael Hedges fingerstyle acoustic guitar piece. Technically a bit of a challenge with some tapping, harmonics mixed with fretted notes and generally running all over the fretboard.
A nice guitar duet by John James.
A duet by John Renbourn and Stephan grossman. We sent a copy of the CD to Stephan who graciously replied and pronounced himself pleased with our interpretation of it. It was a nice accolade to say the least.
Cover version of Lenon's song with two of my friends (voice and tenor saxophone). I wish I could sing like this friend of mine.
I play the single line solo on this duo by Richard A. Seguin and Marc Beneteau, a rare instance of me playing with a pick. Incidently, Marc Beneteau is the canadian luthier who built my guitar in 1981.
Jorma kokannen's well known acoustic piece on an otherwise rock album (jeffeson airplane). I recorded that a long time ago
My interpretation of an instrumental by Bruce Cockburn. It's a fairly easy piece to play in spite of sounding kind of difficult. It's all in the fingerpicking hand.
Bossa nova played with a friend who plays the saxophone. This is basically just us jamming on that piece.
I played the accompaniment in a ragtime finger picking style which fits the tune more or less but may be worth a listen if only for a different flavor of this much played song.
Since this recording, I developped an instrumental solo version of this piece which I intend to record and upload in the near future.
Home recorded. Pretty much follows the arragement of the Kidman \ williams cover.
