Why this name?
Both our last names are Cooper and some people call us "Coop" for short. The play on the Cadillac Coup Deville is obvious...
Do you play live?
At the moment, we only do shows occasionally but that's about to change next month (october). We expect to do a few gigs in the Dallas, TX area and possibly FL before the end of the year...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows much easer access for people who don't have big bucks to get their music out there. Independent (as well as broke...lol) musicians can now be heard world wide with much success without a major label budget.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would have to be a very lucrative deal and we'd have to have most of the control over our projects. With the advances in do-it-your-self recording, it's almost not worth the overhead.
