Welp.. it goes like this. Dru Hensley and Adam Rolfes started playing together in early summer of 2003. It started off with them playing some original songs that Dru had wrote over the years. The style was pretty similar to Dashboard Confessional. They then progressed to write more songs and thought it was time to expand the sound from an acoustic duo to a full blown band. An add on www.comomusic.com brought about the hard hitting beats of drummer Matt Turner. With the new addition, the band was complete. Adam started writing more music and lyrics. Dru continued to write music and lyrics. After a few shows around Columiba, Missouri, the band decided to record the recently released "Thirty Minutes and a Phone Call Away..." Showing their ever progressing musical ability, the lastest cd from Sunday Evening Drive is currently under review by Vagrant Records.
