The sounds of the New York Underground. Raw, uncut and unfiltered trance. These are the sounds of 70 Muzik NYC...
Why this name?
For a while I went my my given name, Oz. But I needed something that stood out. And 70 Muzik stands out. It's different, as am I.
Do you play live?
Nothing live yet. But hopefully this will help me get my music out there. Don't be shy all you trance DJ's out there. There's more coming.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
After a while, it'll ALL be mp3's. So yea, it's changing. Slowly but surely.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on what label it is. (Still waiting for Perfecto or Ministry Of Sound to holla...)
Band History:
I've been making music since 1999, but only within the last year have I made the effort to get my stuff heard on a wider scale.
Your influences?
Ferry Corsten and Nathan Profitt are by far my biggest influences. They produce cutting edge trance. Which is what I plan on doing as well.
Favorite spot?
NYC of course. There's no city like it.
Equipment used:
Sony Music Generator, Fruity Loops, and of COURSE Reason 2.0
Anything else...?
Don't do drugs (Unless that's your thing. Can't fault ya for it)
