Why this name?
The name Pause and Effect was chosen to symbolize the alternative to the rut of cause and effect. Since cause and effect is past associations and experiences creating a catch 22 future, pause and effect is the answer. Simply choose to act from a clear mind instead of reacting like a reactionary robot!

I play in the miami area!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has given choice back to the consumer and has put an emphasis on the art not the company.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I intend to sign a contract with a major or large indie label and keep integrity of artistic vision
Band History:
I started out playing in gothic bands to the likes of the Cure, Depeche Mode, Love and Rockets etc yada yada yada. I then began to DJ, assimilating the rhythms of underground progressive/electro house. With these beats ingrained in my mind I began writing music that expressed the tones of the underground 80's coursing through my veins as a youth mixed with the fluid rhythm structures of the music I was blowing minds with at the clubs at night. All this fused with the understanding of life gained through years of self reflection and being very centered. The results are my new project "Pause and Effect" I hope you enjoy as well as enjoy right now for we are this moment before you can say NOW!
