Bless Chiles is a Boston Mass native that showed up in my Philadelphia studio in 2006. I was scheduled to work with a Philly emcee name Rick Rude that day and Bless came with him to appear in one of the tracks on his project. After hearing him freestyle and seeing his Professionalism in the booth I had to sign him to a production deal.
Why this name?
Bless name came from GOD himself. At the time we met he was heavy into treating his nose. He has literally seen the bottom and need another avenue to focus on. Music was his way out. GOD Blessed him with a gift that saved his life.
Do you play live?
Bless has played live in Philadelphia Pa, Camden & Trenton NJ, and we are in the process of setting up dates in Manhattan NY, Charleston SC, Charlotte NC, and Boston Mass.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We at Swift Music believe that it’s the wave of the future. You take the good with the bad in the struggle to be heard. For some money is not the only reason we do this.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the deal is right, yes! But we will definitely push for distribution only first.
