Closed Captions is a group composed of two emcees known by Catch Phrayse and Guidline. These two emcees are very talented with two different approaches to rhyming. Although both employ metaphor's, similies, and overall clever lines.
Both poses rugged battle styles and spit on any subject with infallible delivery and flow. Although this is not the Closed Captions site this is stricktly Catch Phrayse.

Why this name?
Catch Phrayse becuase it rolls off the tongue good. Has a tight meaning. Catch Phrayse like a verbal logo some thing that grabs your atention.
Like a slogan. I felt thats what I wanted my name to say for my lyrics so thats what I chose.

Do you play live?
Not many places to perform in Pasadena but we do snuff cats regularly in battles at parties and in the streets. We trying to set some sh*** up tho.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It expands the industry and gets unsigned cats more exposure.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
We went to the same middle school (Eliot) and became friends in the 7th grade. Catch Phrayse (Marquett)had just begun rapping and I found Danny (guidline) was an emcee, and he got me into the underground scene. From thier we formed a group by the name of vernacular precision over the summer. We changed the name to table of contents added two members. One was wack and ignorant we dropped him. One was a drug attic we annuled him and it was us two again. We then changd the name to Closed Captions. Poped in one more cat (Josh)Guid Line.
