Ok, first of all, I'm just a solo artist and not a band, but I m sure you already understood that from the "Lexi" part. I hope you'll enjoy the few songs I've created so far... And I promise there'll be more!!! (I hope that didn't sound like a threat)
Why this name?
Well, Lexi is the favorite version of my name Alexia, and amethyst is my favorite stone.
Do you play live?
Uh, no, not nearly famous enough for that!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Things are a lot more easier for artists to get out there these days. Not that everyone can get a contract or something, but at least you can form a decent fan-base, and all that without even releasing an album in stores.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course I would, although to hope I would ever do so is a really far-fetched dream...
Your influences?
I consider Ayumi Hamasaki's lyrics to be a great influence to my lyrics, and Nobuo Uematsu's music a great influence to all the instrumental songs I create.
Favorite spot?
Cham in Germany, Kalamata in Greece, Toronto in Canada, Chicago in the US.
Equipment used:
My classic guitar which is not of very good quality, and a pretty good keyboard, but not pro-material in any way. A pretty cheap but efficient mic and MAGIX Music Maker for all the recording and mixing process.
