The Cambrian Fog
Arawn is a one man, Welsh based, Black Metal project created by Bleiddwn-y-Nos. The band plays Black Metal with Symphonic, Celtic and Ambient influences.
Why this name?
Arawn is a character from Welsh mythology. He is the lord of the underworld and a figure synonymous with Darkness and the Unknown, which are arguably the two concepts that influence Arawn's music the most.
Do you play live?
No as Arawn is only a one man project.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It means artists no longer have to rely on record companies, who are primarily financially motivated as opposed to artistically. It means people can still listen to my music without me having to compromise my musical ideals.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, although maybe an Indie label that I respected and shared my vision.
Band History:
Arawn was formed at the beginning of 2007 and has released one demo, 'Call of the Cyhyraeth,' which received great reviews from several online 'zines and magazines.
