We are Blood Divided.
Blood Divided are a 5 piece metal band hailing from the vibrant Nottingham scene. Blood Divided have risen to the top of that scene and are now looking to spread their word to a wider audience. Blood Divided have gained great audiences and even better reviews from the likes of Insomnia and Zero Tolerance magazines, as well as Internet radio stations, where their airplay has gained great response and an ever growing fan base.
However it is the live arena where Blood Divided really come into their own. Having played right across the UK Blood Divided are a stunning live act who never fail to win over their audience. Support slots with Raging Speedhorn, Centurion, Sanzen, Arnocorps, etc and playing venues like Rock City in Nottingham have gained them respect from bands, venues and promoters country wide!

Yes. Anywhere. Of Course! Getting a good crowd is always nice.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's made the world a much smaller place with regard to how many people you can potentially reach with your music. Unfortunatly the knock-on effect has been a devaluing of music in general. It's much harder to make a real success of music nowadays, especially for those not willing to really understand the business side of things.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on what they're willing to offer, and what they want in return.
Band History:
Blood Divided were formed in 2005, rising from the ashes of Nottingham band Lewd. Vocalist Joe, guitarist Kev and bassist Darby wanted to take the band in a heavier direction and parted ways with original drummer Richard. In stepped Chris on lead guitar and Andy on drums and in early 2006 the band began churning out tracks such as "2:18" and "Seeking Silence", songs that are still a part of the ferocious Blood Divided live set to this day.
January 2007 took BD into the recording studio for the first time. Laying down the tracks "Liars", "Kill The Masses" and "Blind Shepherd" as their first demo. Armed with this the band picked up momentum and doors began opening across the country with BD playing as many towns as possible, trying to spread the word. To date BD have played numerous headline shows in venues reaching across the country, and have supported bands such as Arnocorps from the US, and the UK's own Raging Speedhorn on 2 occaisions.
Spring 2007 saw the original lineup of Blood Divided change with the departure of Darby on the bass and the introduction of Phil, who was also responsible for engineering the bands demo.
From here on in Blood Divided expect big things for themselves and you should too. The band will soon be re-entering the studio to lay down the lastest chapter in their musical devlopment as they continue to add to their list of songs, each one heavier, catchier and more hook-laden than the last.
