Hey im a producer from west yorkshire in the UK. My first love is music would be lost without it. Thats why id like to share my music with the world and hopefully get sum positive and constructive feedback.Been doing this for many years and now is the time to take things seriously and push my music out and hopefully get recognised.Peace.
Why this name?
A mixture of dark but melodic,deep meaningful beats.Thats how i came up with the name "Grimm Deepa"
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Changes it a great deal because it just opens up a huge gate for aspiring artists as myself to show off thier talent and potential to the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes,on the right terms of course.lol.
Band History:
Growing up in a family of music lovers it was inevitable from a young age that i would be interested in music. From as far back as i can remember i have always been passionate about music. I grew up mostly listelning to dance music as an overall genre. In particular i was fasinated by jungle and trance music. Over the years i started to really listeln to music and wonder how certain things were created. With little knowledge of music theory or any practical experience i started to experiment using early software programs such as dance ejay and music on the playstation, although these sound primitive they are what got me into thinking seriously about making music for a career. As time went on so did my skills and i needed more knowledge and experience which lead me to going to music college to learn production skills.
I also ended up going to university to learn sound engineering and design as i thought this would be advanteous to me. I am self taught in everything i know up to when i started college and university. My musical style i like to think is my own, it is very urban but i like to add elements from different styles such as fusing hip hop and rnb with trance elements for example. I ahve been writing music for a good 10 years now since my early teens and now at 23 i want to take it a step further and hopefully get recognised for my work.

Your influences?
My influences are all over the place some not so obvious,i love Drum n Bass,its what ive grown up on along with trance music.But have developed a taste for anything which sounds good from classical to experimental.I now mainly make "urban" music which best describes it,a mash up of hip hop, RnB, Grime, Drum n Bass and Classical elements.I am also highly into film scores and game music.

Yamaha PSR-730 keyboard,Terratec DMX fire audio card,AKG K141 studio headphones,Cubase sx 3,Reason 3, Fruityloops studio 7,soundforge and many synths/vsti.
