I'm a versatile MC, especially when it comes to flows. I started out rapping in German. Now I also rap in English and Vietnamese. I want to bring a new style into the music bizz with lyrics that make you think and beats that make your head nod... In other words-Y'all ain't ready for me!
Why this name?
It's just a different writing of my real name Phuong Dao. Y'all just call me Fawng.
Do you play live?
Yup, I do. Gimme a holla if you're interested. So far, I have performed in the U.S. and Vietnam. My most memorable performance was definitely in Vietnam, @ the Hanoi Opera House with my hg Kim.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps me distribute my music. But then again, too many kids wanna rap and there's too much garbage round here.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends...I just wanna be independent and get major checks naw meaan??!
Band History:
I started recording some German tracks in 2003. Most of them were just foolin around. Now I'm more serious about it, and I'm planning on putting out an album sometime soon. Probably by summer 2008.

Old school, new school, mainstream, underground, American, German, Vietnamese artists, my people...life in general
