Modiztie X is a solo white rapper growing up in Dublin in Ireland, he's currently 15 and regularly writing rap songs and recording when he has the chance. He'll be working on an album when he feels the time is right, but for the moment he's trying to find out how he writes best and is just banging out songs for fun. Modiztie is in the Hellbound Family, so Modiztie is unsigned, we just promote each others music.
Why this name?
Not much to it, I don't like certain types of raps with scrawny people who never held a weapon in their life saying "I'm gonna kill you!" so I thought, I'd be more "modest" so I alterd the spell of "Modesty" a bit and that's what came out, I'll probably end up changeing it anyway.
Do you play live?
I would if I could, I don't think I'm ready yet, hopefully, alot will change when I finally drop an album, but that wont be for a while.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think everyone who answers this says the same thing, without the internet, nobody would ever have heard my music, ever, and my music wouldn't be half of whatever it is today or will hopefully become.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Oh hell yea, there would be nothing better then to be paid to do what I love doing and that's making rap songs, and the fact millions of people would eventually hear my music, no doubt about it, I would try to be different though but I guess everyone says that.
Your influences?
Doctor Dre, massively, the NWA, TuPac, Xzibit, Eminem, D12, Everlast, House Of Pain, Out of Rap, Stain'd, Dylon and probably millions more.
Favorite spot?
Dublins my favourite city on this earth, my favourite spot, is probably in bed or doing anything in front of people that I love doing, and having them respect me for it.
Equipment used:
A mic, Some free software and any beats I can find, I also post my sh*** mainly on D12world.com there's some ill people there, espically audio.
