Current project is a compilation CD from four Christian groups playing together in Iraq for soldiers and chaplains.
Why this name?
Nautical term reminding me of social injustice.
Our base is also using Liberty Chapel as a place of worship and where live and multitrack recordings are made.
Do you play live?
Currently playing Iraq.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Makes music accessible (even from the Middle East)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Anything would be better than recording tracks in a shelter trying to mask the noise of helicopters and machine guns with matresses, plywood and balankets.
Band History:
Bios on the way
Current musicians are soldeirs Chance Crow, Rick Hunter, Emery Lee, and Erik Burch.
Your influences?
We have diverse backgrounds including alternative, pop, classical, jazz and contemporary Christian.
Equipment used:
Various acoustics, strat with Roland guitar synth and Cakewalk Guitar studio.
Anything else...?
We dedicate this CD to the memory of one of our officers John Pryor who was killed in a missile attack after leaving Christmas Mass at Liberty Chapel. We also honor the service all service members of a team who gave a part of themselves to be here in Mosul.
We thank God for bringing us together and allowing us to make music and new memories together worshiping in our humble chapel.
