lol, this was actually the fist part of a name I had for a business I use to own. Every time I'd sign onto the INTERNET, I'd have so much difficulty finding a name that wasn't already in use. Seems like nobody wanted or thought of the name moblemenu....that's what I've been going by for a few years now on the net. "Moble" just saves time...:-)

It's a good thing I think. I remember when I was active (back in the covered wagon days). It wasn't that easy to break into the industry...too many "white shirts" on high controlling what those that actually performed produced. Mp3 (and the net) seems to me to put power back in the hands of those that actually deserve it.

Of course I was reared on all the Motown artists, Stax records, etc. All of those have definitely been a big influence (musically) on me. My tastes though are very eclectic (ranging from Frankie Beverly and Maze, to Amy Whinehouse, Eric Clapton to Kurt Elling). Good music is good music to me. My all time favorite musician though is Donny Hathaway. No one had the soul that he did
