I try to create unique music that still has pop sensibility. I prefer melodies that can grab the listener within seconds, I like music that can appeal to many people. Although I have many influences, I try to avoid borrowing too much from any one artist. My best music is written when I detach myself from any expectation or influences.
I started writing music at the age of 13, it's been my sole motivation for 15 years. I can write most styles and genres. I am always trying to add my touch to established approaches. My goal is to write for TV, Games, and Films.

Why this name?
simple enough
Do you play live?
yes. I am playing some bass and guitar for Jet Horns in the coming months.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
for the better, we no longer need major labels or studios. We can be our own label and build quality studios for relatively low cost.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I might, but it would have to be a good deal, not a a 360 deal.
Band History:
I started out playing guitar in a punk rock band at the age of 13. I was self taught and tried to practice at least 10 hours a day. I chose music over most other things growing up and have no regrets about doing so. I founded Backlit Revolver in 2001, a rock and roll band. I wrote/co wrote over 100 songs for the band. In 2006 we called it quits and I focused my attention to orchestral writing with piano. It's been a tough transition at times, but I love doing it. I have done some small work for various outlets and hope to take on lots more in the near future. I have a fairly large catalog of music to date, over 700 songs written and recorded. I hope to expand this with each day.
Your influences?
Danny Elfman, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, George Fenton, Alexander Desplat, Thomas Newman, Beethoven, Mahler, Prince, Sam Cooke, Elvis, Ray Charles, James Brown, Jellyfish, and lots more

Boston Commons or one of the many beautiful parks in Chicago.
