Margarita Vargas is a vibrant new artist in the cutting edge of dance and pop music. Born a Performer, she has been singing and dancing since the age of five. "Music has always been an integral part of my life; it is literally in my blood," says Margarita of her passion for singing and dancing. Margarita was born in the Dominican Republic. There she grew up singing in church, school, and activities around her neighborhood along with her brother who played the piano and her father playing the guitar. At a very young age she became a profesional model. She was able to combine music, modeling, and school. She also spent part of her life taking acting classes because she always showed interest in acting. She appeared in several movies, videos, and commercials as well as television shows i.e. The Bill Cosby Show and Spanish Sabado al Mediodia. As a professional recording artist, Margarita is very dedicated. She's been taking singing lessons for many years and has been writing songs since a very early age. I am so glad to see Latin artists getting mainsteam recognition. My desire is to be a part of this movement by continuing to push the Latin influences into the pop realm, the way hip-hop has been brought to the forefront of mainstream music in recent years.
