Believe it or not, we had just broken up in a band that the drummer had chosen the name for.We recorded some things and I wanted to post the new tunes up, so we picked up a dictionary, opened it to the first page it fell out at, and picked the best word on both pages. - Interlude.

We play live in our kitchen 3 times a week to work out new material.We do also play coffee houses and open mikes in the area when we can.If you can't share your art in a give and take environment,it may not be worth doing.

Help promote some of the great musicians I have met.Help out up and coming players as well as motivating experienced players to pick up where they left off.

Interlude is a southern California based band described variously as
"Jangly Indie-GoPop" or "Female fronted acoustic based alternative/jazzy/pop/rock"
and supporting our music playing live locally as a 2-piece
(guitar/vocals) and occasionally enlisting the help of
friends/supporting musicians. We have been playing/writing together
in various forms for more than 10 years, and are currently in a "real"
studio re-recording all of our lo-fi stuff for posterity and or financial gain,
whichever comes first.
