I am a producer, I produce artists and bands from a variety of different genres from folk to rock to hip-hop. I also make beats holler at me if you are feelin them.
Why this name?
My name is James and people have been callin me Jamo since college.
Do you play live?
I have had shows all around Iowa City. My favorite place to play is The Mill in downtown Iowa City.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Digital technology has really allowed people access to whatever music they want to hear, its great. The industry just has to adapt and figure out how to make money given this new atmosphere, like doing more high-end live shows.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
In a heart beat.

I use ACID Pro in the lab. I go to a professional studio for final recordings.
