Wsup peoples, this ya boy Carolina C4. I'm glad you could stop through and get enlightened about what you don't already know... Me of course. I do my music for all people, not just Dope boyz, and killaz but for anybody who can feel it and relate. It's hip hop, matter fact I got my own kind. Take a listen and you'll see what I mean. I've never dropped and it wasn't hot and I never will. All music should be soulfood so if I don't sound like what you are used to, it's probably a good thing. I show love where love is shown so check me out.
Why this name?
I feel like where i'm from the people make the place because it's not much else there... With that being said I AM CAROLINA, and what ever I put on wax for you to hear is gonna blow your mind. I AM C4. I AM CAROLINA C4.
Do you play live?
Yeah, this year i've done Mayfest 2007 in Augusta,GA(My place of birth), Club 3020, and I got a Block party coming up in September with the Affiliates Car Club, Club Dreams, and Club Lil Dreams all of Augusta so that's gonna be big. Mayfest I can say was the most memorable because of the networking I got done with everyone from Lil Boosie, my homeboys C Side, Marcus Houston, Mike Jones, Bone Crusher, Dj UnK, Baby D, Rasheeda, Blak Jak, man the list goes on it's at least 30 more celebrities who have my Mixtape with DJ Aaries of the Legion of Doom.(Shout out to Hood Hard Dj's... Check them out.)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes everything alot easier for the artist when he can just tell someone the website in a busy enviroment and keep it moving to do what he do.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
For the moment yeah... I still would branch off independently later on if I don't get to start out that way. My name is up in my area though so depending on how much bread that brings in on the next project would determine that.
Band History:
I started songwriting at the age of 7 and haven't stopped since. I appeared on my first mixtape, "Behind County Lines" in 2001, then I a dropped my own self- titled mixtape in 2003 "Equillized Productions presents, C4 The Mixtape."
