You can hear Beatset's music since 1988. Fischer (git, voc), Hofmeister (dr, voc, keys) and Husch (bass, git, keyb, voc) met in 1988 on a newspaper advertisement.

Before they launched Beatset they played in different bands and they made different music. Fischer was influenced by Frank Zappa, Hofmeister is a real child of the 60s Beat Generation, Husch is a jazz musician.

Generally Beatset covers music from the 60s to 80s, but they have made their own music, too. Husch is the composer of most titles of Beaset's own music.
