Backwater Burial is a group of metal heads who seek to revive the old ways of metal. Our songs resemble a mixture of old school thrash metal, death metal, and a touch of southern flavor.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows independent artists to share their music with people across the world who would have never heard it otherwise. Also it makes it much easier to rip off these artists and illegally share their music, so its a bit of a double-edged sword.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, we hate money and fame.
