I'm Based in the Uk. I Generally make hip hop beats, instrumentals and also full songs. I work with several artists in my local area but I am always interested in collaborations with anybody I will atempt any style of music once as I believe it helps me as an artist in my general understanding of music and the industry.
Why this name?
When I First got into music I used to MC in my frinds Garage to old skool D&B got into hip hop and started out by trying to remix other artists songs one of my friends commented that I was the "Bootleg King" and the name came from that.
Do you play live?
Not right now but a couple of artists I have collabed with have performed at several clubs. I am working on a mixtape at the moment that should be released locally in October I will release it on soundclick around the same time!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet and MP3 has made the music industry accsesable to more people without it would groups such as the Arctic Monkeys ever have made it?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I mean I love making music and I would love to make music for a living, a major record deal would allow a comfortable living without the worry and stress of wondering if I will have enough to eat
Your influences?
Jay-z, BB King, Kanye West, Michael Jackson, Anyone Motown, and my Father reading through some of the songs he wrote has helped me when I wanted to give up
