LGC wants you to embrace the Silver City...
Why this name?
Liberty Gun Club is a real thing in Maine, US. I was never a member of that, but I am pretty much the sole member of this.
Do you play live?
You've got to be joking.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Sites like this allow any urchins to fledge their creations without having a record deal. This is often a good thing, but it also obviously means that there is a lot more crap out there now!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, I would only sign with Swollen Paw Records (Darlington).
Band History:
First album "Welcome to Liberty Gun Club" bombed critically and commercially in 2006. The follow-up "Little Stars and Little Monsters", despite being quite good I reckon, did little to improve the situation in 2007.
2008 saw the release of an enhanced version of "Welcome", renamed "The Golden Monkey Sessions" to exploit interest in Phillip Pullman's dark (and various other) materials. This cynical ploy also failed.
Rumours abound that new material to rival any of the LGC back catalogue will surface in 2009.

Your influences?
LGC enjoy all kinds of music, but aspire to create a new genre: eco-folk-psych-rock. If you think you can hear any influences in there, that's just recycling.
Equipment used:
I swear by Korg 4-tracks and Yamaha keyboards.
Anything else...?
I suggest Jacobs crackers with Flora Light and a cup of tea (1 sugar).
