i have been writing music for a long time now but only started recording my own stuff when i got sorted out with a basic pc home studio. I spend many hours now writing and recording because i just can't stop myself (apologies to my beautiful girlfriend Lisa...)
i am currently writing and recording a soundtrack for a short film - you can hear some demos at www.spinningdivil.com. i aim to do more soundtrack - type work if anyone knows of anything...?

Do you play live?
I've never played my own material live yet. I used to be in a band called Timber Blisco in Carlisle and we gigged mainly there. I played the French horn with various orchestras when i was younger, performing regularly.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
put simply, access to music made by people who you would probably never come accross otherwise
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
well I'd have to think carefully about the ethical implications but yes definately
Band History:
i started playing piano aged 4 (I think - i'll check with my ma) then took up the French horn at 9 until the guitar came along aged 16

Haydon Williams custom built electric guitar, Yamaha acoustic, A&L acoustic, Fender Precision bass, Laney LC15R amp, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp, midi keyboard, some marshall pedals, pc with Cubase SX, Behringer B1 condenser mic , focusrite preamp, Fxpansion BFD drum software and a glockenspiel (can't spell it though)
