I've been making music for as long as i can remember.... I've spent the majority of this year working on my solo effort, as well as a few mixtapes with my crew and others. I'm part of a crew called Dumpstarrs, we are minneapolis based, We formed in the begining of 07.
I basically make music thats relevent to me. I'm really not out here tryin to push my music on anyone. I do my thing and if you so happen to catch a listen and dig it thats cool. As far as haters, i really could care less. I've toured, ive paid dues and countine to pay dues. None of that really phazes me so keep talking.

Why this name?
I came up with NLemnt (an elemnt) back i n high school. It was a real spur of the moment thing. It kind of lost a good amount of what it meant as the years pressed on! So call me NL
Do you play live?
I play live often. Like ive said before i have been around. If there ever was a really great show, it would have to be at sin'e in new york. It was pretty packed, i played with my now good friends metermaids,brokendomer,It was also the methodsnys clothing release party. Definielty great times.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
i have alot of mixed feelings on this issue, cause the internet has definielty opened up the hiphop market. But also it has opened it up to a million shitty "rappers" that are just wasting there brethe.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
maybe. It all depends. I love music and if someone is willing to pay me a substation amount lets do it lol
Your influences?
I'm influenced by alot of midwest and east coast emcees. (rhymesayers,def jux,cc,wu,)
