Well, this is "band" is really just a one man show. I use Fruityloops extensively for most of my work, and the rest is live with me behind my keyboard. I do like to stray away from the cliche "techno" formula of 2-4 bass and whatnot. I also try to keep my work from becoming too formulaic alltogether, so I try to switch things up from time to time with something new. I've been at this for several years now, and I figure it's about time I started uploading stuff.
Why this name?
Kabuki Dude has always been my online handle, for a whole hell of a long time. The story behind it is not very stellar, so I shall simply say that you should've been there.
Do you play live?
No live playing, unfortunately, although I have done some live piano playing to an audience during open mic night.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This is great - it's really a wonderful way for underground and budding artists to get feedback on their work so they can approve.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well, as of right now I really don't consider myself worthy of being paid - it is just a hobby after all.
