"G-Stream" is nothing big. It's a one-man team consisting of me, and regardless of the genre chosen by me, I actually don't have a particular genre. I can range from Neo-Classical, to Rock. I mostly appear to do Neo-Classical works, and in the end, whatever happens from my music, happens. The end result is what I like, not what genre I want it to be.
Why this name?
The band name comes from the name of my (one man) game creation team. Since I am also making music for my games, I decided anything that comes from me will be listed under that name.
Do you play live?
I do not play live, both because I make primarily digital work, and I have quite a bit of stage fright, heh.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has greatly affected the music industry. From illegal file-sharing, and legal buying (heh), people can get widely recognized, sometimes gain a large fanbase, and more.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I am unsure. I might, I might not.
Band History:
There is not much of a history to this band/group. Nothing major has happened, and really, any kind of a timeline simply has my progress.
I started out playing the violin, but I slowly lost interest. Somehow, I still wanted to make music, but not with dealing with an instrument. I found midi, and MIDI making. Several years later I got tired of the annoying free or cheap programs, as well as advanced trials that intimidated me, such as Reason. I finally found a trial of FruityLoops 3 (or was it 4... Heh.) and played around. I liked it, but it was quite confusing at first and I gave up. A few years later, and at age 15, I discovered that FruityLoops changed to FruityLoopsStudio, or FLStudio/FLS for short.
I started experimenting in the trial, and found out how to use some mroe features, and after getting the hang of the basics, I've started using FLStudio for my music. Ever since then, I have been using that program. Fast-foward to now, and I now use FLStudio 6, and plan on getting FLS 7 one day... Heh.
