The Source Magazine July 2006 Issue: Bone Crusher “Release The Beast” Album Review by Soren Baker: "...On lead single 'Southern Gorillaz,' producer Christopher 'Soleternity' McGill's swirling sound effects and heavy-handed keyboards create a stellar soundbed for Bone Crusher and parnter-in-rhyme Cotton... Much of the rest of the 12-cut album hits just as hard, as is the case on the angst filled 'Mug On' and the assertive 'Stomp By The A Town,' two sequels of sorts to 'Never Scared.'"
