Why this name?

East Ave is the actual name of the street where I grew up. This is who I am.

Do you play live?

I have done a couple shows nothing major though. We threw a show last year and didnt get the turnout we wanted, but the experience was lovely.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It's a gift and a curse you know. The gift being you can reach whole new fan base that you normally would not get. It also allows new artist to get some exposure as well. The curse is the downloading. Record companies are not making as much as they use to, so that always come into play when they sign a new artist or anything.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

That's what I want to do, but that $7.00 a record is sounding real good on the independent side.
