Hey, My names Jack Hobbs a.k.a Hobbit. I am a beatboxer, if your not sure what it is check out a clip :) i basically make percussional sounds with my mouth and mouth only, also some starnge noises are put in aswel!

Why this name?

Well basically my name comes from my dad's nickname (rest is soul) and becuase my last name is Hobbs which goes into Hobbit

Do you play live?

I have played live quite a few times. Mostly in Bristol about 4 times and i played in cheltenham and have got a upcoming gig in Birmingham

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Well it is betta for all upcoming bands and beatboxers, singers etc since it means you dont have to get into a studio, get known just so people can hear you, it makes it better and people can see if they like you

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Haha yeh

Your influences?

Well my No.1 influence is a Pro beatboxer called Rahzel, that is how i got into it, also Kenny Muhammed, Killa Kela and a good friend of mine TyTe, a well known beatboxer round the beatboxing community.

Favorite spot?

Most probably a place called West Bay in Dorset, great life down there
