Asuras, where to begin you ask? Everything pretty much kicked off a long time ago with many many many different bands being formed and now we have the final biscuit. Now with 5 members again, we would like to think we bring angry riffage from South Yorkshire. We'll let you make your own minds up, see what you think. We'll have some more recordings for you and T-shirts to come early next year. Check the blog for info on those. If not, see ya some time in 2007. Asuras
Why this name?
Well.......The Asuras are generally considered divine beings, who are primarily known for doing evil, but not always. It might be better to say that the Asuras are powerful beings who often are opposed to the gods. By the end of the Vedic period, however, the asuras had attained their more demonic role.
Do you play live?
we have played numerous shows over our time all over the country, the most memorable being a gig with Sikth and the Architects. IT IS THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I am not a huge fan of mp3 im afraid. but i do agree it is changing the music industry for the better being able to download a track in meer seconds is amazin, but to me theres nothing better than a good old cd or vinyl its just a better feeling to open that case!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
ermmmmm........Depends on the deal.
