Why this name?
My father's name is Felix, and Feel-X is basically spinoff of the name. But my concept of my love for this Hip Hop is like solving a mathematical algebraic expression of my life, and after writing or making a beat it's like I Just solved for X, and I'm a make sure people feel it. You know what I'm saying? I know it's something I feel, and I know a lot of people can relate.
Do you play live?
Yea, I have done a bunch of Poetry Slams, and block party performances. Plus Open Mics, and me and my team recently did our own show at The NuYoRican poets cafe. On February first I am performing for a blastbeat competition. You can find the details to that listed on my blog on my myspace page at www.myspace.com/DaLyricalMiracle
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
On a positive note, it makes promotion a lot easier. But, on the other side of it, because it's so easy it makes more non-creative people think they're big, and really they just mess up the game for true artists.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't know, I'm currently trying to promote my own indie label Tha' Works Records so if a major label came along and tried to sign me it would have to be a joined deal.
Your influences?
Nas, 2-Pac, Eminem, Big Pun, Cannibus,Busta Rymes, DMX, Rahkim, Big Daddy Kane, Cannibus, Kanye West, Mickey Factz, Linkin Park, Trakwerk,Dr. Dre, Timberland, Alchemist, Mozart, Vivaldi, The Dirty Sock Funtime Band, all forms of art in general, and of course the two loves of my life. . . My Wife (although we may not be together right now) and Hip Hop
Favorite spot?
