D-Flow was the name given to me by a friend, so I decided to make that my rap name. It's pretty original, but simple.

It plays a huge role. It allows the unnamed artists to get the recognition that they deserve. I think its one of the foundations of hip hop today, and will only help the industry progress for aspiring artists.

Yes, as long as I was wanted and could contribute in a positive way. One thing I would never do is "sell out" my image or beliefs just to get signed, because I believe in staying true to myself before anything else.

My favorite rapper will always be Eminem, because thats who I first started listening to when I got into rap. But my other two big influences are Big Pun and Nas, two of the greatest lyricists to ever hit the stage. When I listen to music, I always want to be able to learn something from a track, or relate to it in some way that corresponds to my life.

I just wanted to say thanx to Jenn, my best friend who was the first one to believe in anything I wrote or did. She was the reason I started writing in the first place and pursuing it further. Without her, I dunno where I'd be.

Also, Rachel...who also motivated me to keep writing and helped me believe in myself...she too has a great talent for music and would easily make it big if she put her mind to it.

Also to Dmetrius, Bobby and Ryan...all who have believed in me as an artist and helped me get to where I am with their support and advice.
