A sincere thank you from BB Cane and BC Band
Why this name?
It was predestined. We had no choice. We would have preferred to be The Beatles. Actually BB is the first and middle name of the band leader and Cane Sounds good with BB, Nova, Sug and Candy.
Do you play live?
We have played a few local clubs in Tucson, but it has been awhile because we have been in the studio recording. We love performing. Any time an audience member is dancing, clapping, smiling at us, or listening intently, is a special moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We don't know yet, because we are not yet too internet savvy and know much more anout music than we do the industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if they undo all of the injustices they have committed against songwriters and musicians and performers, before us.
Band History:
BB Cane has been playing guitar and singing for 38 years. The band was formed a year ago while driving down Mount Lemon.
You can read more about us at www.bbcane.com
Your influences?
Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Jim Croce, The Eagles, Hank Williams Sr. and Jr. , Chuck Berry, James Taylor, Sam Cooke, and countless others.
Favorite spot?
Thus far our favorite spot would have to be just west of El Granada, CA where the big wave surfers and seals hang out.
Equipment used:
Anything that makes noise, vocal chords, guitars, drums, rattles, keyboards, you name it.
Anything else...?
What else can be said beyond "All things will become true eternal love"!
