I think it steps back in time an mimics the days of a single track tape or vinyl 45's. Now you just purchase the song you want instead of buying the album. it seems more commercialized to me. They argue for a loss in dollars but I think the new format will suit them big labels fine.

I've been playing in bands and with friends for about fifteen years. Played in high school talent shows and different crazy bands in college. Made an album in the studio with Retrospace Cadet, and I've made two albums on my computer at home. Recently I participated in a MaggotAppleWonderland.com project.
