Formed in September 2006, Baker's Boys is a varied ensemble focusing primarily on original music. Best described as Folk Rock, Baker's Boys songs ride a wide variety of genres and forms. Our acoustic performances feature shows of entirely original music. Our electrified sets feature a mix of original music and complementing covers.

Currently, we're busy gigging out this summer at various venues and we're beginning work on our first CD entitled "White Roses." Occasionally we'll place tracks for review on the site. Make sure you listen and review them! We only want to put the best of the best on our first CD.

Why this name?
The lead singer's name is Krys Baker. The other members are entirely men. Natural selection.
Do you play live?
Southern Maryland. The music scene in Southern Maryland is a very difficult proposition for numerous reasons. However, we are located within a reasonable distance of major Metropolitan areas such as Washington D. C., and Baltimore. My favorite shows are the benefits we have played at the Three Notch Theatre.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The musical tastes of the ordinary person has radically changed since the inclusion of the internet into the mix. The days of the true "Rock Stars" are over as people are exposed to more and more music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, I would not.
Your influences?
We primarily play original music spanning a variety of genres. We have wide and varied instrumental options as well.
Favorite spot?
I truly enjoyed Raleigh, North Carolina the last time we visited.
