I Might Snap
RIPLAK used to sing for bands until every one of them went down the gutter. After attempting several times he chose to do it on his own and turn to the music he always loved most....Rap! Starting out in this game all alone, he released 'A Curse Called Trust' and through his surprise, he gained several fans. As the beats and lyrics were constantly flowin' in, he ended up knowing more and more artists and working with some of the best in the underground. Now with 2 released solo albums, and a mixtape in the works, he is going strong and starting his own label soon!
Why this name?
RIPLAK stands for Rest In Peace Lynn Anne Kremer in respects for his mother who was murdered.
Do you play live?
Mostly Boozies Bar & Grill in Davenport, and yes, I love that shit!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Myspace has introduced me to many artists all over the nation.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends which one, I could try to help this sh*** industry finally hear somethin' worth the time.
Your influences?
West coast mainly. Big Game fan, Spice One, Outlawz, 2pac, Cyserro, and of course all the old school I grew up on! People that show me love influence me everyday to keep on goin' with my constant writing. Too many influences in the rap game to list.
Favorite spot?
I got love for Milwaukee, that's basically the first city I f***ed with in this game. But my favorite city would have to be Las Vegas.
