The Shuffle Hounds are a premium Blues/Rock band , blending Classic Rock & Blues Favourites, with some of the more obscure Rock Oldies, along with their own brand of Originals.
The members are;
Arlie Box-Guitars/Vocals,

Why this name?
Arlie was in an acoustic Duo called "The Porch Dawgs", and as we were in the "thinking of a name" stage, Rick (Bass) suggested our name, & we ran with it.
Do you play live?
Yes
It just seems like it would be less enjoyable playing dead.
When the fans are getting into your music, you can feel it & it drives you harder.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that mp3 & internet downloads will do to CDs, what CDs did to vinyl.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Wouldn't You? if the money's there
Band History:
The Shuffle Hounds have played all over Southern Indiana & Northern Kentucky at various clubs & events. They've opened for Mellencamp's former guitarist Larry Crane, & shared the stage with Duke Tumatoe. In the Late '90s, The Shuffle Hounds were a mainstay at a local benefit for The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society of America.
Your influences?
Each of us have our own influences, some the same, but there is a lot of diversity amongst each of us. Arlie has a lot of Old Southern Rock in his style, while Rick is into light Jazz & Blues, &Rhyknow (pronounced Rhyno) into everything from Rasta To Metal

Stay Away From Louisville, Ky!! It doesn't pay shit!
