If it takes being shot, going to jail or putting in work in the trap then Ro has the credentials for the streets to believe him. However, if it takes talent, dedication and focus then Ro cannot lose.
Born and bred in Jacksonville, Florida, Roski came of age in a time when everything moved fast. He knew he had to be sharp as a razor to navigate through the many roadblocks in his path. The street life was always appealing to him. It was glamorous and it came easy to him. So he lived it. Deep down he always knew he wanted more. In his spare time Ro began writing raps and spitting them to his homies on the block. Seeing he had talent from day one, they encouraged him to pursue music. He did--and this seemed to come easy to him as well.
With influences ranging from Jay-Z, Lil Boosie, Game, Juvenile and B.G, Ro continues to sculpt a universal style that is true to who he is while incorporating knowledge that he has skimmed from a variety of sources. Although he is from the heart of the south, Ro's vernacular is diverse. His references pique the curiosity of many who perceive southern mc's to be one dimensional.
Since 2007 Roski has been seriously pursuing his music career. Stumbling a few times along the way trying to walk a fine line, Ro has turned his obstacles into stepping stones. In spring of 2009, 100 Entertainment, his label home, dropped his first single "Style So Raw" garnering praise from the likes of Greg Street as well as Kaspa Da Don, president of Hittmenn Dj's.
Soon Ro will drop his first mix Cd, "F*%! Fame" and will be performing throughout the southeast.
So, no more clichés or braggadocio, we will let the product speak for itself. We know you will be convinced.

Why this name?
When I started rapping I used to go by Pyro. Short of pyromaniac. Soon I just shortened it again to Ro and then to Roski.
Do you play live?
I do. I get shows in Atlanta and Jacksonville.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet gives artists an avenue to promote their product independently on a world-wide scale. It doesn't completely level the playing field but it helps bridge a lot of gaps.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would. Of course.
Your influences?
Juvenile, Lil Boosie, Jay-Z, Andre 3000, Game, T-Pain
Favorite spot?
Jacksonville is my favorite.
Equipment used:
I used the microphone.
Anything else...?
My Style Is Raw.
