The name SMT Productions has several meanings. The original name was 7 Mile Trademark Productions, which I realized later on was too wordy, so I abbreviated it. The name came from the fact that I represented 7 Mile. Now however, I feel that I represent real music in general, and should not limit myself to one area of one city. Finally, the name is still said as SMT Productions and it still stands for 7 Mile Trademark, but the meaning is different. The number SEVEN represents completion and perfection, and I see those two ideas as MILEstones for one to achieve. I believe that my work is the TRADEMARK of such milestones.
