What's good everybody how ya'll doing? This isn't my first time around the Soundclick block and more then likely it won't be the last! I love Soundclick and how they provide you the ability to not only to mingle with artist, producers, and listeners, but how they allow you the ability to virtually upload an unlimited number of songs absolutely free! How you love that? Also they give you the ability to promote your music on a grand scale, but enough about Soundclick this is supposed to be about me hello!!

Anyway like I said before what’s good? What's popping? What's shizzlin? It's ya boy Prilacation a.k.a. King of the North back at like a crack addict falling off the wagon! I hear to manly use this page to showcase a lot of my older works of art that I did in the pass with either; other SC artist, Alaskan based artist, or artist I've done work with online. I may hear and there showcase music that I produced for other artist too! (That's right I make beats too check me out at: www.soundclick.com/statelinemusicgroup) To put it simply I'll have a lot of music with me collaborating with other artist up on this page for your listening enjoyment.

So if you interested in collaborating with ya boy or you want me to hop on a track with ya hit me up at: prilacation@aol.com and let me know what the business is okay? That's it that's all enjoy your listening experience, and remember "It's all Jesus"!!

Why this name?
Well first of all I'm not a band I'm a solo artist lol. (Had to get that out of the way) The story goes like this: Well one day I was sitting around and I couldn't for the longest time figure out what to call my self! So I happened to be checking my mail and one of the new magazines I had just subscribed to had spelled my name wrong (my real name) and spelled it like Prilacation. When I read it I was wtf but it kind of had a “like me” ring to it so I adopted and that's been my name ever sense!
Do you play live?
Man performing live is the best in the world! Ya heart is pounding a 100 miles a minute, your adrenaline rush is kicking in, the crowd is rock and moving, the noise is crazy! I mean that's what I think every artist lives for is to perform no matter what the circumstance! If you don't want to perform you probably should consider a career change.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a lot harder for major labels to make money lol! No more of the 5 times platinum albums and none of that pushing garbage type albums on the public at large now! Because now people can listen and download music before they buy it the another downfall is the fact that it does make it easier for listeners and artist to steal either unreleased music or unreleased albums but I guess you win some you lose some! It seems to benefit more toward the Indie side, underground artist trying to gain exposure to a large network of people around the globe in a matter of minutes sometimes seconds. It also makes it easier for Indie labels to be successful sense they can reach a wider market of their audience!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
In the state of the industry right no! I don't need to be famous I just need to be successful! Successful to me would be selling about 5,000 units an album! If I could do that I wouldn't care about the fame or Grammy’s or none of that flash! Just being successful at what I'm doing is cool enough for me! I mean I ain't stupid either the right deal, the right time, the right label yea I'd sign on the dotted line well...... Maybe!
Band History:
Usually everyone wants a little background, a little history; you know understand your background a little bit better I guess. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and have been a fan of music in general all my life. I've been producing and rapping for about 9 years now. Though I originally started out as a singer but never took it seriously. I did not even like rap till I was bout 10 years old! Once I heard "Smells like Pussy" by E-zay E it was a game over. I've been rapping ever sense! E-zay E and Too Live Crew is where most likely my passion to talk about sex, partying, and liquor came from lol.

I've worked with quite a few local artists in my area like: Trigga, Streetz, Killa Nan, 74th Street Entertainment, Morbid Mindz Inc, Mr. Moore, and many more! I've worked on about a total of 10 different album projects in both the capacity of a rapper and a producer and sometimes both at the same time. I'd say over the years I've done over at least 200 songs, whether they have been lost, used, or even recorded.

I started out as apart of Thugmen records and released an album called "Connected and Well Respected" the Major Factors which consisted of me, Mezzo, and Killa Nan. As a label we didn't do all that much except party and have sex with females, though to me it was my paying my dues/learning experience. We actually started to get semi large from doing tracks with Yukmouth and Mac Dre, but like most independent labels eventually it dissolved and everyone went on to do their own things.

I branched out after Thugmen and started my own label called Dark City Entertainment and did that for about 6 years, doing a little production, shows, tours, and artistic collaboration with other artist. I worked with artist like; Generous, Xo, Duce Duce, and Trick Tease, and got quite a decent following. Though last year I decided to dissolve that because of the simple fact that supporting artist on a record label is not exactly cost effective, plus I had a lot of unreliable artist on the able who didn't want to work, and finally someone had already copyrighted the name so I disbanded it!
Your influences?
Tech N9ne, Bizzy Bone, Bone Thugs and Harmoney, E-zay E, Too Live Crew, Nortoious Big, Tu Pac, Snoop Dogg, Method Man, Redman, Just Blaze, UGK, Yukmouth, Luni Coleone, Killa Tay, Jazzy Pha, DJ Green Lantern, Battle Kat, Suga Free, Kokane, Mr. Short Khop, Track Stars, Lil Jon and the East Side Boys, and Chamillionaire.
Favorite spot?
I was born in raised in the Anch (Anchorage for you non-Alaskans) so I guess it's my favorite spot but other then here? I love Sin City (Las Vegas) and Orlando, Florida! 2 of the most popping places in the country for show!
