I was born in a little island in the caribbean called Puerto Rico. Since I was born, my parents helped me develop a passion for music and arts that made me what I am today. I have accomplished a lot in my life, following my grandfather's footsteps with singing, producing and radio experience. Now is my turn to make it happen and here are some of my songs. I hope you enjoy them.
Why this name?
Super Solo. Well, the name says it by itself. I do everything by myself. That means the producing, the mixing and everything related with my product.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Digital distribution is the new way of marketing your music and i think that is the best thing that has happen to the industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
it depends on the terms...
Your influences?
I grew up listening to Bob Marley and many other reggae bands in the island and also electronica. And I am creating a way of mixing those sytles together with my latin influences and lyrics.
Favorite spot?
Puerto Rico
Equipment used:
Apple Powerbook G4, Reason 3.0 and Pro Tools with a broadcast console at a readio station and Neumann TLM-103 mics.
