This is BBN!! We are upcoming rap artists. We are freshmen at Mississippi State University and currently record in a home studio. The official group members are Money Marc, King Cam, Don Bee, and Yung Urban. We're knee deep in the mixtape biz and have not yet started on an official album. Why this name?
We chose our band name because we were orginally remaking songs and turning them into remixes about fat people. (which led to "Big Boyz") Our homeroom classroom gave us the most support and we were united as if we were a nation. As of now, there are various meanings to BBN: Bringing Back the Necessary / Beautiful Bliss and Nostalgia / Boss Business and Narratives / Blantantly Bashing Negativity . . . Basically the Best Niggaz doin this shit!
Do you play live?
We have had opportunities to perform live at gigs. We performed at Jackson State University on May 23, 2011 and the performance was successful considering we were notified at the last minute.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well if you are unsigned your tracks can be promoted without having to pay large amounts of money.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would only if it was for the whole band and we were payed for what we're worth.
