How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has been a boon and a curse to individual artists in the music industry. It is a boon in that they can use it to reach audiences across the globe that they would have never been able to reach before, but still it is easy to get lost in the shuffle because there are so many excellent artists out there.
Band History:
At the age of twelve, DJ Velly began learning music by banging on a piano and studying/sequencing MIDIs. In spite of his late start on music theory, he quickly grasped the core concepts and moved on to more complex sequencers three years later. Thus began his education in music synthesis which formed him into the electronic artist he is today.
Since then he has produced dozens of hours worth of music, both good and bad, looking to define (for himself) what works and what does not. Between this experimentation, feedback on the produced music, and intensive study, DJ Velly has vastly improved his ability to put together pumping trance beats and epic, flowing themes. To this day, this system of feedback and self-criticism continues to improve his game.
